The government plans to implement various projects through public-private partnerships. In this regard, the Tamil Nadu government has initiated measures to renovate the bus terminus in Thoothukudi at a cost of ₹90 crore and to construct a multi-purpose commercial complex in Thanjavur at a cost of ₹130 crore, involving private sector participation.
