It’s steamed pudding season again, and there are few better ways to serve it than with hot chocolate sauce and a scoop of ice-creamThis is the best time of the year for proper stodge, and an even better time to make steamed puddings. I adore them – you get the best texture and a pudding that feels like a big hug – so find it a shame they’re not more popular these days. I’ve gone for individual portions, because they steam more quickly and everyone gets their own. Drown them in hot chocolate sauce and serve with a splash of cold cream or a scoop of ice-cream.
