New Low Pressure Area : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that a new low-pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal the day after tomorrow. Forecasts indicate that this system, developing over the southeast Bay of Bengal, will intensify over the coming days and is likely to make landfall between north Tamil Nadu and southern Andhra Pradesh on the 17th.
