The Omni Bus Owners' Association has urged the Chief Minister to put on hold the hike in entry fees for omni buses at the Koyambedu Contract Carriage Bus Terminus in Chennai. An increase in bus entry fees affects not only the bus owners but also the passengers; during festive seasons or weekends, the burden of the fare hike ultimately falls on the passengers.
