Depression: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that the deep depression over the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression. The IMD further indicated that this system could develop into a very severe cyclonic storm by the 26th and is expected to make landfall near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on the 28th.
