Cyclone 'Murasu', which formed in the Bay of Bengal, has now intensified into a severe cyclonic storm. It is projected to make landfall tonight near Ongole, between Nellore and Narasapur. Due to this cyclone, an 'orange' alert for extremely heavy rainfall has been issued for Chennai and Thiruvallur districts in Tamil Nadu, while heavy rainfall is expected in five other districts, including Chengal
