Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: "Due to a budgetary crunch and a lack of funds, the disbursement of financial assistance to ten million (one crore) women has been halted for two months. This monthly assistance scheme is entirely dependent on government budgetary allocations; therefore, it cannot be claimed as a fundamental right," the Karnataka government has informed the High Court.
